Mississhippi's Madness

A place to share my creative pursuits

One hour experiment

A lot of artists on Wet Canvas have had a go at seeing what they can paint in one hour. I decided to give it a go. It is to try and loosen up your painting by having a tight time limit. Today is Ks second day at pre-school this week, the first week she has attended for two days. So I actually had the time to do some painting at home as I used her first day for chores and today for fun!

Size is A4 on Canson light orange paper, used soft pastels.

I’m not really happy with the outcome but it was fun to try. I wish I could crop the mandarine out of the picture and keep that – that I am happy with.

But I may go ahead and complete this: fix up the perspective, even out the sides of the bowl, fix the colour of the kiwi fruit, make the wooden platter look more wooden.
