Mississhippi's Madness

A place to share my creative pursuits

Spider Orchid – WIP#7

So, I have done some more work on this, but still need the background to recede a little more. The light area also needs to be toned down a little and maybe it’s shape revised.

To be honest I think this one will go into the ‘don’t know what to do with it’ pile and I’ll have to start again with a new plan. It has been worth the work though as I am learning what I don’t like and also to start with the darks and work towards the lights, which improved this for me.

I really don’t want to lose this flower though as I am very happy with the way it has turned out.
