Ceramics – Slab sculpture

Painted the sculpture with underglaze today. Once this has been fired I will be coating  this with a copper wash which will darken the texture, so I’ll be interested to see how that works.

I used Brick Red underglaze, with a sponge application of bright Red for highlights on two faces of the form, and Reef Gold on the other faces.

It is looking a bit lolly coloured at the moment – hopefully the copper wash will remove this effect.
