I love that the tulips are closed overnight and first thing in the morning, opening up as the day progresses. This was taken about 7.30am. This is usually how tulips are photographed, yet I love them when they open up and you can see the amazing colours inside the flower.

This is how they look about 3pm (not such a good shot but it shows how different a tulip can look throughout the day)…
