The only problem with crochet is that my daughter wants to keep everything I make!
I made this bag a while ago but friend suggested I add these flowers (I made these to see if I could crochet flowers!). The bag is the perfect size for a girl and with the flowers on it, my daughter has laid claim to this one.
I have always wanted a slouchy hat and I found this one by Danyel Pink over at Crazy Socks Crochet and in just a few hours I had this made. It is made in Patons Romance 8ply (merino rich cashmere) and it feels lovely and soft. This is mine, but I believe I will be fighting my daughter for it when the weather gets colder (I’ll make her another one!) Thanks Danyel for the great and easy pattern!
I also found a lovely vintage pattern for coasters by Sandi Marshall over at about.com that really appealed to me. So far I have made four coasters, and then I also found a simple basket pattern over at Cherry Heart and just by sheer luck it ended up being the perfect size to hold the coasters. I’m aiming to make eight coasters which should fit very nicely in the basket.
I’m planning to add some crochet items to my Etsy shop, which I will link up to here. I just have to make some things that my daughter can’t lay claim to (maybe if I don’t show her? 🙂 )
